Custom Pattern Designs

We carry many of our own original rug hooking patterns as well as patterns from well known designers such as Kaye Miller, Melissa Elliott, DiFranza, Patsy Becker, Jan Graham and more.  We also custom design rug hooking patterns for our clients.

Custom Color Planning and Dyeing

The CHR staff enjoys assisting you with your color planning your hooked rugs and will custom dye wool for your rug if we don't have the colors you need in stock.

Host ATHA Groups

The local ATHA chapter, Buffalo Trace Rug Hookers, meets regularly here.

Rhapsody in Rugs

Each fall we co-sponser an annual juried show of hooked rugs held at the Carnigie Center for Art and History in New Albany, Indiana.  This show is endorsed by the Association of Traditional Rug Hookers (ATHA) and draws entries from around the United States and Canada.  Click here for more information on Rhapsody in Rugs

Restoration Service

We restore / repair antique hooked rugs as time permits.  Call for estimates on repairs.

Braided Rugs

We sometimes add braided edges to a hooked rug.

For questions on braiding rugs we refer to our friend Terri Donica at
